Funeral services for Maurice Milton Green, 56. were held Sunday afternoon at the First Baptist Church, Dickens, Rev. Harmon Bishop officiating. He had resided in Canadian since 1948. He was born in Dickens County in 1907 and was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Lela Green, Canadian; one daughter, Brenda Green, Canadian; four brothers, John L. Green and Robert Green, both of Spur and Tom Earl Green, Dickens and Dayton Worth Green, Rule; one sister, Mrs. John Draper, Austin. Pallbearers included R.T. Crawford, Alton White, Edgar Robinson, Fred Arrington, Bill Scott, and Willow Street. Burial was in Dickens Cemetery.©The Texas Spur January 16, 1964
