Funeral service for Daniel Luther Gilstrop, 65, who succumbed to pneumonia at this home in Dickens Saturday, Feb. 6, at 5 a.m. were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, at Dickens with Rev. Morris officiating.

Pallbearers were George Pierce, Johnny Koonsman, Jack Gipson, Fred Harrington, Robert Reynolds and Harold Blair.

He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Elbert Smith of Pampa; Mrs. Andrew Joiner of Pampa; Mrs. Virlie Goodyear of Kilgore; and Mrs. Sybil Goodbar of Fort Worth; three sons, C.C. Gilstrop, Tacoma, Washington; L.A. Gilstrop of Fort Worth; and E.W. Gilstrop of Orange. He is also survived by one sister, five brothers and eleven grandchildren.

Mrs. Gilstrop preceded him in death about five years ago.

Interment was in Dickens cemetery with Chandler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
