Church Services for Palmer Wayne Gibson, 65, of Spur will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday August 14, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Dickens, Tx., with Pastor Jesse Gilliam and Bro. Tommy Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Dickens Cemetery under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home of Spur.
Palmer passed from this life on August 9, 2014 in Lubbock. Palmer was born on July 7, 1949 in Crosbyton, Tx. To Charles Gibson and Elmyra Greenwood. He is survived by his wife: Brenda Gibson Children: David Wayne Gibson of Beach City, Tx., Yvonne Paulette Daza of Lubbock, Michael Wayne Gibson of Halton City, Randall Gibson of Spur, Richard Gibson and wife LeAnn of Lubbock, and Crystal Louise Gibson of Spur. Parents: Charles Gibson and Elmyra Greenwood Sister: Ruby Combs of Afton And 10 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by three infant children and one infant grandson.
