DICKENS (Special) - Graveside services for Ruby Jewel Flood, 80, of Denver City will be at 4 p.m. today in Dickens Cemetery in Dickens under direction of Roger Pool Funeral Home of Seminole.

She died Thursday, Aug. 21, 1997, in Canterbury Villa Nursing Home.

She was born Dec. 16, 1916, in Georgetown. She married John Joseph Flood in 1934 in McAlister, Okla. He died in December 1982. She moved to Denver City from Hobbs, N.M., in 1984. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Dickens.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary Hull of Seminole and Nancy Kelly and Martha Skaren, both of San Angelo; a son, John Simmons of Seminole; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
