Obituary

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Dickens, for Guy Leslie Fellmy, retired Postmaster of Dickens.

Rev.V.D. Walters, San Antonio, officiated. He was assisted by Rev. Jack DeWitt, Dickens; Rev. Robert Fields, Halfway and Rev. D.J. Peters, Anton.

Mr. Fellmy, 60, died March 16 in the Crosbyton Hospital following a lengthy illness. He had served as Dickens Postmaster for 31 years. He had been resident of Dickens County since 1930.

He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. B.J. Crafton, Austin; one sister, Mrs. Charles E. McGinnis, San Antonio and three grandchildren.

Interment was in the Dickens Cemetery.

Services for Mrs. W. Faye Fellmy, 78, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, at the Fist Baptist Church, Dickens. Rev. Robert Field officiating. Burial was in Dickens Cemetery.

Mrs. Fellmy was born on April 7, 1909, in Ballinger; she died on February 28, 1988, in Azle.

She was the postmistress in Dickens for several years. She married Guy Leslie Fellmy, he died in 1969.

Survivors include a daughter, Jan Crafton, Azle; two sisters, Annie Hoffman, Ballinger; and Alma Robinson, Vinita, Oklahoma; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
