Larry was the son of Joseph and Martha (Hargus) Edwards and the husband of Addie Kennedy. Larry and Addie's children were: Charlie, Jackie, Maude (Eron), and Lilly Hargus Edwards.

Obituary

Funeral services for Larry Hargus Edwards, 77, will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Baptist Church at Dickens. He was found dead in his home Monday morning, December 26.

A former resident of Michigan, Mr. Edwards had lived at Dickens the past 2 years. Rev. Robert Field, pastor of the Dickens Baptist Church, will officiate at the funeral.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Maude Lewis, Detroit, Michigan; two sons, Clark Edwards, Lansing, Michigan; and Jackie Edwards, Farminton, Michigan. One sister, Mrs. Ida Slayden, Dickens, also survives.

Nephews served as pallbearers.

Interment was in Dickens Cemetery with Campbell's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
