Mrs. Drennan Buried In Dickens Rites

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Dickens Baptist Church for Mrs. Lola Belle Drennan, 79. Rev Rev. Victor Crabtree officiated and was assisted by Rev. Jack DeWitt, Dickens.

Mrs. Drennan died Sept. 27 in Cochran County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Baptist Church and has been a resident of Dickens County from 1917 to 1966.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ella Mae Sims, Ft. Worth and Mrs. Ozella Box, Odessa, five sons, Coy and Billy George Drennan, of Dickens. Claude Drennan of Morton, Troy Drennan, Evant and L. V. Drennan, Waco; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Hughes Smith, Merlin Roberts, Quitman Box, Johnny Cumbie, Fred Arrington and Howard McKnight.

Interment was in Dickens Cemetery.
