U.S.Flag   Funeral services for Tom William Dodson, a native of Dickens County, were held Thursday, February 5 at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church, Dickens.

Rev. Charles Broadhurst, Lubbock, officiated, assisted by Rev. Carter Fry, also of Lubbock.

An oil field worker, Mr. Dodson died in Amarillo on February 3. His present home was in Amber, Wisconsin. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Macel Didson[Dodson], Amber, Wis.; a daughter, Mary Beth Crisp, Levelland; a son, Michael Dodson, Levelland; his mother, Mrs. Kura[Lura] Lain, Mart; a brother, Carlton B. Dodson, Lubbock.

Pallbearers included L.C. Winkler, Bill Scott, Faye Slough, F. Cornett, J.O. (Fat) Cornett and Raymond L. Futch.

Burial was in Dickens Cemetery.
