Services for Cleo Patra Chesney, 84 of Dickens, were at 11 a.m. July 7, 1994 in the Dickens Baptist Church. Rev. C.L. Atkinson, Afton Baptist pastor, officiated.

Burial was in Dickens Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Chesney died about 1:39 p.m. July 4 at Ryburn Care Center, Dallas following a lengthy illness. She was born in Maybelle, Texas March 10, 1910 and had lived in Dickens County most of her life. Her husband, Jimmy Chesney, preceded her in death on May 10, 1990.

She was a member of the Dickens Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Survivors include three daughters, Jimmie Turner, Dallas; Bonnie Hudson, Dickens and Marinea Cummins, Odessa; eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
