SPUR (Special) Services for Grace "Pet" Adeline Cannon, 91, of Dickens will be 11 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Burton, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Dickens Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.

She died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, in Crosbyton.

She was born July 11, 1908, in Limestone County. She was graduate of Crosbyton High School. She married Charles Weldon "Tooter" Cannon on April 22, 1957, in Santa Fe, N.M. He died March 19, 1997.

She had lived in Dickens since 1963, coming from Spur. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Crosbyton and was active in the Senior Citizens in Dickens.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Wheeler of Hobbs, N.M., and Bill Wheeler of San Antonio; a daughter, Leanora Houwen of Santa Marie, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Her body will be at the church from 9 a.m. Friday until service time.
