Services Set Friday For Mrs. Butler, 90

Funeral services are scheduled at 1 p.m. Friday in the East Side Church of Christ, Dickens, for Mrs. Mary Jane Pernell Butler, 90.

James Couch, Ralls, will officiate.

Mrs. Butler died about 11:40 p.m. Feb. 25 in a Wichita Falls hospital.

She came to Dickens County in 1920 and had resided in Wichita Falls since Oct. 1968. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Aubrey Phillips, Wichita Falls; Mrs. Ruby Edwards, Afton; Mrs. Willie Dollard, of Irving; four sons, Clyde Pernell, Dickens; Monroe Pernell, of Graham; Alvie Pernell, of Afton; Ray Pernell, Van Horn; two brothers, Joe Elliott of Ft. Worth and George Elliott of Proctor. Also listed are 21 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Clay Edwards, Fay Sough, Lee Wood, Claude Edwards, Phil Nelson and Fred Arrington.

Interment will be in Dickens Cemetery.

Campbell Funeral Home will have charge of arrangements.
