Funeral services for Mrs. Eliza Jane Butler, 82, were held November 28 at 2:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Dickens.

Rev. J. J. Terry, Bovina, officiated, assisted by Rev. H.B. Graves, Munday.

Mrs. Butler died Novbember 26 at the Leisure Lodge Nursing Home, Munday. She was a resident of Dickens County from 1924 to 1959 when she moved to Munday. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Clarence E. Butler, Munday; one son, Wiliam Butler, Haskell; a daughter, Mrs. T. J. Conaway, Dickens; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Smith, Oregon; two brothers, Carl Allen, Oklahoma City and W. B. Allen, Lockney; six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Herman Bostic, Alfred Brindle, Wilburn Brindle, Lonnie Offett, Bob Porter and Victor Lewis Jackson.

Burial was in Dickens Cemetery
