Former Dickens County Boy Killed In Railroad Wreck

Earl Brannen, son of J.E. Brannen, came to his death in a railroad wreck at Park City, Utah, age 27 years and 25 days old. The young man was buried at Dickens, September 17th, was a former resident of McAdoo and this county. A good man of good habits...(rest of obit not saved)

Employed by Union Pacific Railroad as bookkeeper and payroll clerk on a construction job in Utah. Parents: J.E. (Jack) Brannen and Mary Blanche Martin.
