Elmer Boykin Died At Home In Dickens Sunday, May 18th

Funeral services were held for Elmer Boykin Monday afternoon, May 19, at 2:30 p.m. at the Churchof Christ in Dickens.

Interment was made in Dickens Cemetery, Campbell Funeral Chapel directing.

Pallbearers: Willow Street, Fred Christopher, Perry Lee Marshall, Joe Long, Erix Ousley and Buster Arthur.

Elmer Thair Boykin was born August 20, 1900. He moved with his family to Dickens County about 1915, where he has been engaged in the farming and trucking business.

He was married to Miss Iva Holly, of Dickens, five years ago.

Surviving are: his widow, Mrs. Boykin; his mother, Mrs. Simmons, two sisters, Mrs. R. E. Elder and Mrs. Lee Neal; and two brothers, Burlin and Robert II, Boykin.
