Funeral service for Devin DeLyn Atkinson, 1 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Atkinson, Spur, were held November 7 at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Dickens, with Rev. Lee Jones, Burkburnett, officiating.

The child died November 5 about 12:45 p.m. in Lubbock General Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born September 12, 1984 in Lubbock.

Surviving along with the parents are maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dewayne Hopkins, Lubbock; paternal grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. C.L. Atkinson, Dickens; maternal great-grandfather, Augusta Tom Ladd, Lubbock; paternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. T.M. Lewis, Afton; a brother, Davis Allen Atkinson and a sister, Dana Marie Atkinson, both of the home.

Pallbearers included William Brown and Terry Parkey.

Burial was in Dickens Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
