Seymoure Anderson Is Buried In Dickens

Funeral services were held in the Bethel Baptist church Monday June 23 at 2 p.m. for Seymoure Anthony Anderson. Rev. Dock Love officiated with Rev. R.D. Hill assisting.

Anderson was born Jan. 8, 1869 in Spartan, TX. He came to Dickens county in 1932 and was later married to Amanda Purser of Dallas, who preceded him in death in 1936.

He is survived by one daughter, Bernice Anderson of Lubbock; three sons; Earl of Oklahoma, Edd of Lamesa and William of Lubbock; fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were C.A. Powell, S.E. Reynolds, Pat Robinson, J.B. Kimmel, Horace Hyatt and D.B. Ince.

The interment was in Dickens cemetery with Chandler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
