Graveside services for Ona Mae (Pettigrew) Adams, 93, of San Pedro, California were Saturday, May 16, 1998 at Dickens Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Henderson of Spur officiated. Burial was under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.
Mrs. Adams died Tuesday, May 12, 1998 in California. She was born in West Texas in 1905 to Luby and Adelia Pettigrew. She lived in the Dickens area until 1943 when she moved her family to California.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by one son, William (Billy) Adams, one daughter, Earl Dean White; one sister, Annie Gladish and two brothers, Clyde and Kelsey Pettigrew.
She is survived by two sons, Carl Adams of Reno, Nevada and Don Adams of Del City, Oklahoma; one daughter, Doris Windham of Huntington Beach, California; two sisters, Jewel McMeans, Colton California and Inez (Earl) Odem of Casa Grande, Arizona and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
