Graveside services for Ruby Ellen Mullins, 87, of Afton were Wednesday May 26th, 1999 at the Amity Cemetery. Rev. C.L. Atkinson of Afton officiated. Burial was under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.

Mrs. Mullins died Monday May 24, 1999 in the Crosbyton Hospital. She was born May 2, 1912 in Clarksville, TX. She married Raydell Mullins June 9, 1930 in Dickens, TX. He preceded her in death October 22, 1994 as well as a daughter Doris Hale who died January 4, 1995. Mrs. Mullins lived most of her life in Dickens County. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include two sons, Lewis Ray Mullins, Dickens; Ronnie Mullins, Springtown; one daughter, Wanda Richardson, Crosbyton; one brother, Andrew Joyner, Corvallis, Oregon; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 2 great, great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Tom Hale, Dave Hale, Craig Forbis, Alfred Haney and Jesse Earl Roller.
