Funeral services were conducted from the Afton Baptist Church Friday afternoon for James Bryan Willmon, 4 year old son of Mr. And Mrs. W.J. Willmon. R.C. Brown, pastor of the First Christian Church of Spur, officiated.

James Bryan Willmon, known by his many friends as Jimmy, was born June 21, 1936 at Afton, Texas. Ill health began for him in November 1938 following an attack of scarlet fever. Brights disease developed and little Jimmy was never well again. He lived only a few days after the poison from his kidneys passed into his blood. He passed into a coma about six hours before death came to relieve him. He died November 14, 1940 at 3:05 o'clock a.m. at the age of 4 years, 4 months and 23 days.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. And Mrs. W.J. Willmon, and a baby brother, Frank. Also a host of relatives and friends.

Interment was in the Afton cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Chapel of Spur.

Pallbearers were L.W. Young, E.J. Offield, Louis Daniels, Jess Powell.

Flower bearers: Sue Loe, Rayma Faye Younger, Jerrine and Doris Randolph.
