Edith Austin Russell was born Aug. 1891 in Waldron, Scott County, Arkansas. She died Jan. 20, 1911, and is buried in the Afton cemetery, Dickens Co TX, with inscription of "Wife of L.M. Rucker"
She married Lonnie M. Rucker Dec 20-1910 in Afton, Dickens Co Tx. Lonnie´s birth and death dates are listed in the Afton cemetery as born 1892 and died 1922.
They were only married a month at the time of her death. I believe that my mother told me that she died from scarlet fever(?).
