ACUFF (Special) Services for Pauline Ragland, 69, of Acuff will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Canyon United Methodist Church with the Rev. Madoc Thomas, pastor, and Elizabeth Abraham, chaplain of Hospice of Lubbock, officiating.
Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in Afton Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mrs. Ragland died Friday, April 29, 1994, at her residence.
She was born on Aug. 30, 1924, in Afton. She married G.H. "Gib" Ragland on April 27, 1944, in San Diego, CA. She graduated from Patton Springs High School in Afton and was a 4-H Club adult leader. She was named State Distringuished Adult 4-H LLeader in 1981 in College Station and received the Honorary Chapter Farmer Award from the Roosevelt FFA Chapter. She was an adult Cub Scout leader and was price clerk for the Price and Ration Board in Lubbock and San Diego,CA, during World War II. She was a homemaker and a member of Canyon United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school and vacation Bible school.
Survivors include her husband, a son, Mike of Acuff; a daughter, Sissy of Acuff; and four grandchildren.

CANYON Services for G. H. Gib Ragland, 88, of Acuff will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012 in Canyon First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Afton Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.
Gib was born October 8, 1923 in Duncan Flat Community in Dickens County, Texas and passed from this life March 1, 2012 in Lubbock. Gib grew up in Dickens County. He graduated from Patton Springs High School in 1942. Gib was a Navy veteran of WWII. After WWII Gib returned to Dickens County where he ranched and farmed. He married Pauline Ford on April 27, 1944 in San Diego, CA; she preceded him in death on April 30, 1994. He moved to Acuff in 1956. Gib has served on the Acuff Gin Board.
He has been preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
His survivors include his son, Mike Ragland and wife, Cindy of Acuff; daughter, Sissy Ragland of Lorenzo; sister, Loise Thorton of Montgomery, Texas; along with four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will have a visitation at the funeral home Friday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
