Nickie Hale Nickie Glenn Hale, 27, loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother and grandson, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2003. He was born March 27, 1976, in Lubbock, TX and was raised in Sweeny. Nickie´s human compassion and love of life made him a friend to everyone. He made all of our lives a little better and could always brighten our day and make us laugh. He was a wonderful friend, son, brother, and grandson; always unselfishly giving himself to those he loved. He leaves a void that cannot be filled. We all love him and hold his memory close until we meet again.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Marie Wilson Hale of Wharton; by his children, Brittney Marie, Jeremy Daniel and Reagen Mitchel, all of Wharton; by his grandparents, Shirlene Sanders of Sweeny and Nickie Don and Janie Hale of Matagorda; by his sister Heather Jean Hale of Freeport; and his niece, Trinity Hartmann of Freeport. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Glenn Sanders and his grandparents, D.R. and Anabelle Hale, Afton.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 6, 2003 at the Old Ocean Baptist Church with burial followed October 7, 2003 at the Afton Cemetery, Afton.
