Afton Rites Held for Carolyn Hale
Funeral services for Carolyn Jean Hale, 17, were held Saturday at the Afton Baptist Church.
Carolyn was a member of the Baptist Church. She was married to Nickie Don Hale, August 6, 1955. They lived in Ft. Worth.
Survivors include: the husband, Nickie Don Hale and one son, Mitchell Don Hale; her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Alvie Melton; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Demsey, O´Donnell; Mrs. Millie Cooper, Ralls; Mrs. Billie Brantley, Afton, and one brother, Alvie Melton, Jr., Afton.
Rev. Victor Crabtree, officiated. Pallbearers were: Tommy Hale, Don Bradshaw, Eddie Dempsey, Doc Coper, and Raymond Hale.
Campbell´s Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. Interment was in Afton Cemetery.
