GRANBURY — Services for Carrol Valton "Shorty" French, 65, of Granbury will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mambrino Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Wheat officiating.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Afton Cemetery in Afton under the direction of Martin´s Funeral Home of Granbury.
He died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, at Lake Granbury Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 15, 1935, in Afton. He was a retired truck driver and had lived in Granbury for seven years.
Survivors include two sons, Kurt of Burleson and Raphel of Granbury; two daughters, Karen Thorp and Rhonda Lee, both of Granbury; two brothers, Roy of Odessa and Belvie of Granbury; a sister, Joe Helen Wilson of Roswell, N.M.; and seven grandchildren.
