KING FAMILY CEMETERY #1

Nothing available on the history or location of this small cemetery found in South Denton County, Texas on the banks of Denton Creek. Mr. John Clay, a worker for The Corps of Enginners, reported finding two tombstones on Denton Creek. Many attempts have been made trying to locate Mr. Clay to pinpoint the location of this small burial site. As of this date (1993) he has not been located. He reported the information to the Denton County Historical Commission, Denton, Texas in 1978.
