I am trying to find information on the William Raford JARRETT family. They moved to Cass Co. from Georgia around 1880. Their children were William Jefferson Jarrett (my grandfather), Metta Alice, Sarah (Sallie) Elizabeth, Bertha, Thomas Stephen Raford, and Emma S. (Susie) Jarrett. Stephen and Susie were born in Cass County. William Raford's wife was Emeline Jane Clayton Jarrett and she is buried at the Corinth Cemetery, along with several relatives. William Raford later moved to Hensley Arkansas with his daughter, Metta Jarrett Davis, where he died in 1909. He was a veteran of the Civil War. My grandfather, William Jefferson, married Nancy Elmina WALLACE, daughter of Jane Elizabeth CRAWLEY and Andrew Jackson WALLACE, also of Cass County, near the Dalton community. The Wallaces were from the Tallapoosa County area of Alabama. Any help on the JARRETT and the WALLACE families would be greatly appreciated.
