Last Will and Testament of Thomas Richardson



County of Denton

Know all men that I, Thomas Richardson, of the state and county heretofore stated, being in ill health but of sound mind and memory, do make and publish this, my last will and testament.

1st: I constitute and appoint my son, Berry Richardson, my sole executor of my last will.

2nd: After the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses, I give to each of my children as follows:

To my son Harry L. Richardson, fifty acres of the Fitzgerald Survey, including water on the same; also my entire stock of cattle, one horse called Ball and one mare called Lucy, with her colt.

To my daughter, Mary J. Brock, my other fifty acres of the above described Survey of land, on Pow creek in Cook county, Texas; also one mare, called Bell.

To my son Berry Richardson, one black horse called Dock, a one year old colt (Perl's colt), one wagon, one cook stove and one bed.

To my daughter Sarah M. Loyd, one horse called Alie, one colt known as Bell's colt and my interest in a reaper, mower and rake.

3rd: What money, notes and produce that is on hand is to be equally divided among the four children, after the debt is paid.

In testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and publish this, my last will and testament in the presence of the witnesses named below, this 3rd of November, 1878.
