Memorial rites for Ozella Wright, 63 year old Ralls resident, were at 11 a.m. last Thursday in the First Baptist Church of Ralls. The Rev. Floyd Haddock officiated.

Burial was made in Ralls Cemetery.

Mrs. Wright, a longtime Ralls resident, was pronounced dead at her home about 9 a.m. Tuesday. She had become ill at her residence.

A Floyd County native, the former Ozella Day was married on Dec. 23,1935 to Roy Pierot in Ralls. He died in 1968. On June 26, 1972, she married Johnnie Wright in Houston.

Survivors include her husband; a son, George Pierot of Ralls; a daughter, Simona Farley of Lubbock; her mother, Mrs. Melvin Day of Ralls; a brother, Alvis Day of Houston; a sister, Mrs. Bozemma Denton of Wallace, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
