Maggie Verett

Mrs. Maggie Verett, 85, succumbed at 5:30 a.m. Monday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital following a lengthy illness. she had been a Ralls resident since 1917.

Memorial services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Emma Church of Christ in Ralls with Creed Mullins, minister, and Lloyd Hall, minister of the Crosbyton Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.

Mrs. Verett was a native of Montague County

Survivors include three sons, C.H. Verett of Ralls, C.A. Verett of Lubbock and Paul Verett of Stephenville; five daughters, Mrs. Andrew Sessom of Ralls, Mrs. Don Moses of Crosbyton, Mrs. Porter James of Lubbock, Mrs. Leslie Pepper of Sabinal and Mrs. Basil Reynolds of Riddle, Ore.; 21 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren.
