Graveside services for Jan Buckley Simpson, 89, of Ralls were held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 27, 2006 at the Ralls Cemetery. A memorial service followed at the Ralls First Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Carson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.Jan passed away April 25, 2006 at the Ralls Nursing Home.
She was born December 27, 1916 in Holland, Texas to M. M. and Ethel (Callaway) Buckley. On November 18, 1939 she married Roy Louis Simpson in Mangum, Oklahoma.
She was a member of the Ralls First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. Jan loved working at the Ralls library which she did for many years. She and Roy moved to Ralls in 1965 from Happy.
Survivors include; her husband Roy of Ralls, two sons and their wives; Steve and Shirley Simpson of Denver City, Bill and Paulette Simpson of Lancaster, a daughter; Janis Brown of Garland, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Alzheimer's Disease Education Program 3601 4th St. Room 3A116 Lubbock, Texas 79430.

Graveside services for Roy Louis Simpson, 91, of Ralls will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 8, 2008 in the Ralls Cemetery with Rev. Larry Carson officiating. Burial is under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.Roy passed away Saturday, April 5, 2008 in the Ralls Nursing Home. He was born February 17, 1917 in Cherokee, Oklahoma to the late Howard and Anna (Ford) Simpson.
On November 18, 1939 he married Jan Buckley in Mangum, Oklahoma. They moved to Ralls in 1965 from Seagraves. A retired local business man, Roy was a member of the Ralls First Baptist Church where he was active in Brotherhood.
Survivors include one daughter, Janis Simpson Brown of Garland and two sons and their wives, R. Stephen and Shirley Simpson of Denver City and William C. "Bill" and Paulette Simpson of Lancaster, Texas, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
