RALLS (Special) - Services are pending for Raymond Reese, 64, of Ralls with Carter Funeral Home here.Reese died about 10 a.m. Wednesday in Crosbyton Hospital after a brief illness.
A Crosby County resident since 1920, he moved here form Winfield where he was born. He was married to Gladys Brents on Dec. 2, 1929, in Lovington, NM.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Loy William of Benton, Ark.; a daughter, Mrs. Charlene Moore of Lubbock; two brothers, Robert and Cecil, both of Ralls; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Ross of Stephenville, Mrs. Alma McBride of Post and Mrs. Eunice Short of Wills Point; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Graveside services for Gladys Ruby Reese, 86, of Ralls, were held Saturday, August 15, 1998, in Ralls Cemetery with Kenneth Free, pastor of Emma Church of Chrsit in Ralls, officiating.Burial was in Ralls cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She died Thursday, August 13, 1998, in Lubbock's Methodist Hospital.
Reese was born on Feb. 24, 1912, in Whitefield, Oklahoma. She married Raymond William Reese on Dec. 2, 1929 in Lovington, NM. He died April 14, 1976.
She was a member of the Emma Church of Christ in Ralls. She was a graduate of Ralls High School. She moved to Ralls from Oklahoma in 1923.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Vesta Taylor, Wanda Robinson, Hilda Jones and Vera Gillespie.
Survivors include a son, Loy and wife, Goldie, of Benton, Arkansas; a daughter, Charlene and husband, Bobby Moore of Lubbock; a brother, Travis Brents of Grandview; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
