RALLS (Special) - Services for William Hershal Reese, 77, of Ralls will be at 4 p.m. today at the Ralls First Baptist Church with Dr. Billy Burk, pastor, officiating.Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
Reese died at 7:40 p.m. Saturday at Methodist Hospital after a short illness.
He married the former Marie Tucker on March 1, 1927 in Crosbyton. He was a member of the Ralls First Baptist Church.
A native of Fannin County, he moved to the Ralls area in 1925. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Jessie Lee of Ralls; two brothers, Freeman of Lubbock and Harley of Crosbyton; five sisters, Iduma Harris and Imogene Garrett, both of Dallas; Effie Talley of Arlington; Vida Tucker of Gallup, NM and Earrlene White of Phillips; and three grandchildren.

RALLS (Special) - Services for Mamie Reese, 89, of Ralls will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Ralls First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Morrow, pastor, and the Rev. John Goss, a retired Baptist minister, officiating.Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She died Saturday, Oct. 19, 1996, at Lubbock's Methodist Hospital.
She was born Nov. 8, 1906, in Quitman, Miss. She married William Hershal Reese on March 1, 1927, in Crosbyton. He died June 7, 1980. She was a member of Ralls First Baptist Church and the Goodwill Sunday School Class. She also was a member of the Stitch and Sew Club and the Quilting Club. She attended Ralls schools.
Survivors include a son, Jesse of Ralls; a brother, Allen Tucker of Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister, Alice Winkles of Plains; three grandsons; and five great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to Ralls First Baptist Church or to the Ralls Library.
