RALLS Rosary for Julian Ramirez, 50, of Lubbock will be said at 7 p.m. today at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Tom Diebel officiating.
Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
He died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, in Amarillo.
He was born Sept. 3, 1952, in Ralls. He married Aurora Zuniga on Oct. 15, 1998 in Falfurrias. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls. He worked as a mechanic at a cotton oil mill. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He received the Army Service Ribbon, the National Defense Service Medal, three Vietnam service medals, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm, Driver/Mechanic badge, Army Commendational Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, 3 NCO professional development ribbons, three overseas service ribbons and the Army Achievement Medal. He moved to Lubbock in 1996 from Ralls.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Tammy Sue Reyna of Lubbock and Laura Jane Delgado of Ralls; three stepsons, Sammy Loa and Ralph Maldonado, both of Lubbock, and Eric Reyna of Ralls; two stepdaughters, Maria Gutierrez and Terri Maldonado, both of Lubbock; four brothers, Johnny Ramirez of Lubbock, Jose Ramirez of New Deal, Jessie Ramirez of Ralls, and Jorge Ramirez of Bridger, Mont.; two sisters, Ophelia Minor and JoAnn Hernandez, both of Ralls; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
