Obituary

RALLS (Special) — Graveside services for Raymond Keller Ralls, 74, of Ralls will be at 11 a.m. today in Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Russ Byard, pastor of Ralls First United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

Ralls died at 9:30 p.m. Monday in Lubbock's Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Ryan, OK, and moved to Ralls in 1916 from Ryan. He married Florence Aynes Work May 31, 1953, in Fort Sumner, NM. He was a member of Ralls First United Methodist Church and a past member of the Lubbock and Crosby County Sheriff's Posse. He graduated from Schreiner Institute in Kerrville and was a farmer and stockman from 1937 until retiring in 1984. A brother, Emory, died in 1972.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Larry Work of Idalou; a brother, Herbert Ralls of Fort Worth; two sisters, Alma Hendrick and Pauline Watkins, both of Ralls; and two granddaughters.

 Florence Ralls RALLS (Special) — Family graveside services for Florence "Sissy" Ralls, 79, of Ralls will be at 11 a.m. today at Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Hubbard, pastor of Ralls First United Methodist, officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction Adams Funeral Home.

She died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 5, 1920, in Crosbyton. She married Raymond Keller Ralls on May 31, 1953, in Fort Sumner, N.M. He died Nov. 20, 1989.

She was a member of Ralls First United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Crosbyton High School. She had lived in the Ralls area all her life.

Survivors include a son, Larry Work of Idalou; a sister, Magie Jones of Lubbock; two granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to a donor's favorite charity.
