RALLS (Special) - Ernest E. Patterson, 80, a resident here more than 50 years, died at 5:45 p.m. Thursday in the Crosbyton Hospital following an illness of several months.
Services were pending late Thursday with Carter Funeral Home.
Patterson was a furniture dealer before retiring to help his wife at their variety store here. He had worked at Patterson's Store until a few months prior to his death.
Born in Memphis, Tenn., Patterson later lived in Frost before moving here in 1918. He was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his wife, Louella; a daughter, Mrs. Nedra Austin of Orange; three grandchildren and a great grandchild.
