Obituary

Services for George W. Parchman, 91, of the Robertson community south of Lorenzo were Friday in Lorenzo First Baptist Church with the Rev. P.D. Fullingim, retired Baptist minister, officiating.

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home of Ralls.

Parchman died about 2:30 a.m. Thursday in Lubbock Osteopathic Hospital.

A native of Paris, Texas, Parchman had lived in Crosby County since 1909, moving from Young County. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include five son, Welman, A.H., Roger and Arnold, all of Lorenzo, and Richard of Lubbock; two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Davis of Waco and Mrs. Wilma Graves of Idalou; a sister, Mrs. W.E. Ragle of Ralls; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a great great grandchild.
