LORENZO (Special) - Services for Delma L. Parchman, 67, of Lorenzo will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Golden, pastor, and the Rev. Sidney Parsley, pastor of First United Methodist Church, both officiating.Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mrs. Parchman died at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday in West Texas Hospital in Lubbock after a short illness.
She married Wellman "Buddy" on Feb. 4, 1930, in Clovis, NM. She was born in Pilot Point and was a member of First Baptist Church. She moved to Robertson community in 1926 and to Lorenzo in 1957.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Garland of Fort Worth; four daughters, Evelyn Sooter of Lubbock, Donna Gestes of Fort Worth, Glenda Schumacher of North Babylon, NY, and Jean Keys of Slaton; a sister, Dorothy Hester of Houston; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
