Rosary for Isidro Obregon Jr., 59, of Fort Worth was held at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 2002 in St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls with the Rev. Leonard Pahamtang officiating. Mass was recited at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002, at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Saturday in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.Mr. Obregon died at 5:57 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002 in the Crosbyton Clinic Hospital in Crosbyton.
He was born Nov. 24, 1942, in Corpus Christi. He was a member of the Catholic church and was a farmer and was a musician. He moved to Fort Worth in 2000 from Lubbock. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ricarda Obregon; one sister, Lupita Obregon, and two brothers, Rufinito Obregon and Richard Obregon..
Survivors include his wife, Hermelinda of Fort Worth; one son, David Obregon of Lubbock; two daughters, Linda Samarripa and Lora Villagran, both of Dallas; his father, Isidro Obregon Sr. of Ralls; one brother, Lupe of Ralls; three sisters, Rosa Escobar of Ralls, Mary Obregon of Dallas and Luz Lebano of Waxahachie; and eight grandchildren.
