Obituary

HOBBS (Special) - Mrs. Clara McDaniel, 52, who had moved here only Thursday from Ralls, was dead on arrival at Lea General Hospital early Friday after suddenly becoming ill at her home.

Services are pending at Carter Funeral Home in Ralls.

Survivors include her husband, Roma; two sons, Richard and Charles, both of Ralls; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ellen Kuykendall, Dallas; her mother, Mrs. Annie Davis, Ralls; a brother, Elmer Tidwell, Paoli, OK; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Patton, Ralls; and six grandchildren.

RALLS (Special) - Graveside services for Roma R. McDaniel, 86, of Ralls will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Les Griffin, pastor of Crosbyton First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

McDaniel died Monday, March 13, 1995, in Crosbyton Care Center.

He was born Feb. 6, 1909, in Gail. He married Clara Tidwell, and she died Feb. 7, 1964. Two sons, Charles and Richard, also preceded him in death.

He was a bricklayer.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Kuykendall of Dallas; three sisters, Ozzie Burton of Paoli, Okla., Gladys Richardson of Lane, Okla., and Goldie Hall of Moore, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
