RALLS (Special) - Services for George Dale Ledbetter, 66, of Ralls will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Ron Colwell, pastor, and Jim Morrow, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
Ledbetter was pronounced dead Tuesday, Aug. 30, 1994, at his residence.
He was born on Dec. 25, 1927, in Treadway. He married Floy Nell Priddy on Nov. 10, 1948, in Ralls. He attended O'Donnell schools and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Emma Masonic Lodge No. 931 and the Baptist church.
He had worked at Pioneer Natural Gas in O'Donnell and established the Farmer Store in the Farmer Community near Ralls. He owned Ledbetter Seed Co. and Big G Tires in Lubbock and had opened a farm equipment business in Lorenzo.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Ida Sue Curbo of Idalou and Beverly Kay Briggs of Lubbock; his father, Isaac Ledbetter of O'Donnell; two brothers, Herman of O'Donnell and Norman of Tahoka; a sister, Mennie Stubblefield of Lubbock; and three grandchildren.
