Rosary for Victoria Madrid Hernandez, 85, of Ralls will be said at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the same church with Rev. Ernesto Lopez officiating. Burial will be in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Victoria passed away on Monday, August 3, 2009 at Crosbyton Hospital. She was born on October 7, 1923 in Colorado City to the late Abundio and Eufemia (Montoya) Madrid. On June 18, 1947 she married Jim Hernandez in Stanton.
Victoria is preceded in death by a son Alonzo Hernandez on October 8, 2004.
She was a homemaker and member of St. Michael's Catholic Church where she was in Guadalupanas. She moved to Ralls in 1954 from Midland.
Survivors include; her husband; Jim of Ralls; a daughter Angie Cervantes of Ralls; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Serving as pallbearers will be Eddy Rivera, Stephen Rivera, Melissa Rivera, Jr. Gonzales, John Michael Hernandez and Kalleb Flores.
