Rosary for Alonzo M. Hernandez, 55, of Ralls will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday, October 10, 2004 at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated 2:00 PM Monday, October 11, 2004 at the same church with Rev. Jesse Cruz and Rev. Leo Pahamtang officiating.
Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery. Mr. Hernandez died Friday afternoon at University Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born August 19, 1949 in Stanton, Tx to Jim and Victoria Madrid Hernandez. He married JoAnn Ramirez July 25, 1987 in Lubbock. He was a farmer and moved from Midland to Ralls in 1954. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by 2 daughters, Shirley Joelynn Hernandez and Bobbie Jo Trevino. Survivors included; his wife, JoAnn, his parents; Jim and Victoria Hernandez of Ralls, 3 Sons; Erik Lance Hernandez, Joel David Hernandez, John Miquel Hernandez and Eric Hernandez all of Ralls, a stepson, Jesus Gonzales also of Ralls, a daughter, Rosann Marie Hernandez of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and a sister, Angie Cervantes of Ralls and 1 grandson.
Pallbearers will be: Stephen Rivera, Eddy Rivera, Melissa Rivera, Jesse Ramirez, Osbaldo Gonzales, Jose Casarez, Jose Ramirez and Mike Pena. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert DeLeon, Gerald Ramirez, Louis Martinez and Pat Martinez.
