Services for W.C. "Dub" Henry, Jr., 80, of Morton, Texas, will be held Friday, April 25, 1997 in the first Baptist Church in Morton with the Rev. Danny Jackson, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in Ralls Cemetery in Ralls, Texas.
Mr. Henry died Wednesday, April 23, 1997 at Cochran Memorial Hospital in Morton.
He was born April 24, 1916 in Hillsboro, Texas. He married Clydene Smith on October 24, 1937 in Ralls.
Mr. Henry moved to the Morton Community in 1957 from Ralls. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Morton where he served as a deacon. He was a director of the Federal Land Bank of Levelland and the Star Route Gin Company. He helped clear the camp grounds to build Plains Baptist Assembly in 1947.
Casket bearers will be Edward Dewbre, Jimmie Webb, Kenneth Watts, Jimmy Mullinax, Larry Hatter and G.W. Lyon.
Honorary Casket Bearers are Deacons of the First Baptist Church in Morton, Gerald Ramsey, Charles Skeen, Wallace Stallcup, Randy Gattis, John Barker, Corey Westbrook, Winston Jerden and Wendel Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Clydene of Morton, a daughter Dwana Satterwhite of Ranger, Texas and her husband, David; 3 sisters, Gladys Howard of Lubbock, Zoenell Myers of Fritch, Texas and Maxine Thornton of Houston and two grandchildren, Chris Satterwhite of San Angelo and Jean Ann McCormick of Australia.
The family suggests memorials to: First Baptist Church of Morton, Texas or the American Heart Association.

Clydene Henry, 91, of Ft. Worth passed away Monday, October 29, 2012, in Ft. Worth. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 1, 2012, at the Ralls Cemetery Chapel, with Rev. Clay Corsey officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Adams Funeral Home.
Clydene was born on December 22, 1920, in Knox City TX, to the late R.C. �Clyde� and May (Hamm) Smith. She married W.C. �Dub� Henry October 24, 1936 in Ralls, whom preceded her in death on April 23, 1997; Clydene was a member of the First Baptist Church in Morton since 1957, she retired from the Farm Bureau after many years of service. Clydene enjoyed spending time with her family, and was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great great grandmother and friend to many.
Survivors include her daughter, Dwana Satterwhite and her husband David of Ft, Worth, grandson, Christopher Satterwhite, granddaughter, Jean Ann Lopez and her husband Edwin of Ft. Worth, Great great grandchildren, Kendalyn, Emery Lopez also of Ft. Worth, one sister, Ava Nell Thomas of Amarillo and numerous nieces and nephews.
