Mrs. Mattie Henexson, 84, of Ralls died Thursday afternoon in a Crosbyton hospital.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church here with the Rev. Dale Cain, pastor officiating. He was assisted by Elder Joe Jackson of Cone, pastor of the Floydada Primitive Baptist Church.
Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home.
Mrs. Henexson moved to Lubbock County in 1923 from Stephenville, and then moved to Ralls in 1936.
Survivors include four sons, J.C. of Ralls, Roy of Mesquite, Bill of Muleshoe and Melvin of Eastland; a daughter, Mrs. Geneda Roberts of Ralls; a brother, C. R. Bain of Slaton; a sister, Mrs. G. G. Jones of Slaton; 27 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
