Graveside services for Billie Jean Henderson, 70, of Conroe, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 1998, in the Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Henderson, officiating.
Burial was under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mrs. Henderson was born Aug. 13, 1927, in Floydada, TX, and entered the gates of Heaven Feb. 26, 1998, in Conroe after a courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband, Dean Henderson; and children: Jeannie Walker, Jerry McHam, Paula McHam, and Christie Lee; special children: Peggy Sutton, Steve Bales, and Stan Lee; sisters: Janie Mandrell of Wolfforth, Bettye Barker and husband A. B. of Lubbock, Earline Stroud and husband, Dale of Wolfforth; brother LeRoy Crabb of Wolfforth; special sisters: Ruth Norris and husband Dalton of Ralls, and Cleo Black of Sherman; six grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Mission Fun of North Side Baptist Church, 1115 N. Houston, Conroe, TX, 77301.

Wylie Dean Henderson passed into eternal rest April 20, 2016 in Conroe, TX. Graveside services will be held at the Ralls Cemetery Chapel, Ralls, Texas on Saturday, June 18, at 1:00 p.m.
Dean was born December 20, 1931 in Spur, Texas to Luther and Obera Christine Henderson. He graduated from high school in Ralls, Texas and was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. Dean was married 40 years to Billie Jean Crabb McHam Henderson, who preceded him in death on February 26, 1998. Dean and Billie shared their work and family life, working together in the Henderson family laundry business in Ralls, Texas, the nursery business in Conroe, Texas and the convenience store business in Montgomery, Texas.
Dean is survived by children, Leona Jean McHam Walker of Conroe, TX, Jerry McHam of Montgomery, TX, Paula McHam of Houston, TX and Diana Christine Henderson Lee and husband, Stan Lee of Nampa, Idaho, 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Norris of Kyle, Texas and 6 nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Deana Joyce Henderson, sister, Cleo Henderson Pettit Black and nephew, Kenny Don Pettit.
In honor of Dean�s special babies- dogs, Happy and Buddy and cats, Tommy, Angie, Abner,Tammy, Precious and Annie, donations may be made in his name to any pet rescue organization.
