RALLS (Special) - Services for Burl Griffith, 79, of Ralls will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Ray, pastor, officiating.Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
He died at 4:30 a.m. Saturday in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Briscoe County and moved to Crosby County in 1915. He married Wilma Frankie Abel on Oct. 1, 1927, in Crosbyton. She died Nov. 20, 1965. He was a farmer and a member of the Ralls Lions Club and First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Margie Cowley of Ralls; a sister, Nova Olinger of San Diego, Calif.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bill Lyle, Jessie Reese, Buzz Cooper, Charles B. Gray, Mack Carlisle and Steve Munoz.
