Mrs. Vada Green Funeral in Ralls
Funeral services for Mrs. Charles E. (Vada) Green, Sr., 81, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Ralls with Rev. Floyd Haddock, pastor, and Rev. Andy Willis of Alamogordo, N.M. officiating.Mrs. Green passed away at her home Monday morning in Ralls.
Born in Rosenburg March 21, 1897, Mrs. Green married Charles E. Green April 5, 1914 in Tell City. He preceded her in death, Oct. 11, 1976. Mr. and Mrs. Green moved to the Ralls area in 1922 from Tell City. She was a member of the Emma Sewing Club.
Survivors are: three sons, Charles E. Green, Jr., Curtis T. Green, both of Ralls; three daughters, Mrs. Orene Morris and Mrs. Harl Cypert, both of Lorenzo and Mrs. Charlotte Broome of Lubbock; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Auburg of Brownfield and Mrs. Grace Bishop of Fort Worth, 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery.
