RALLS (Special) Services for Darla Gilbert, 44, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ralls First Baptist Church with the Rev. Floyd Haddock officiating.Burial will be in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
She died Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
She was born March 18, 1955, in Ralls. She married Bob Gilbert on Dec. 16, 1978, in Ralls. She graduated from Ralls High School in 1974, then she attended South Plains College. She was employed by Grinnell Manufacturing in Lubbock. She and her husband owned and operated Bob´s Car Service Center in Levelland. She was raised in Ralls, but she and her family moved to Lubbock nine years ago from Slaton.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Robert Marion Lee Gilbert of Lubbock; a daughter, Deidra Deaun Gilbert of Lubbock; her parents, Elmer and Maurine McReynolds of Ralls; a brother, William Preston McReynolds of Post; and a sister, Patricia Lowrie of Slaton.
The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association, 3403 73rd St., Lubbock 79423.
