Dan C. Flurry Rites Set Today
RALLS (Special) - Rites for Dan Cecil Flurry, 85-year-old Ralls resident, will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Cone Methodist Church.Officiating will be the Rev. E. R. McGregor, pastor, assisted by the Rev. Ray Forbes, McAdoo, and Elder Joe Jackson, Cone. Burial will be in Cone under direction of Carter Funeral Home of Ralls.
A retired farmer, Flurry died about midnight, Thursday in Crosbyton Hospital. He was a native of Bellville, Ark., and came to the Ralls area in 1924 from Marlow, Okla.
Survivors include his wife, Wilner; three sons, Jean, Henry and Dan Cecil Jr., all of San Antonio; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Butcher, San Antonio, and Mrs. Jack Robertson, Ralls; a sister, Mrs. Fannie Barker, Marlow; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bob Stephens, James Boydstun, Odell Heathington, Edmund Crump, George Noble, Wallace Heathington, John Fowler and Russell Noble.
