Services for Jack Flowers, 62, of Ralls, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 1988, in the Emma Church of Christ in Ralls with Dennis May, minister officiating.

Burial followed in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Mr. Flowers died early Thursday morning, May 5, 1988, in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital following a brief illness.

He was born March 12, 1926, in Cone, Texas, and married Jimmie Bartlett May 3, 1947, in Ralls. He was a member of the Emma Church of Christ and had served as Past President of the Ralls Lions Club. He was a farmer and for the last 4 years had been employed by Oil-seed Systems, Inc. He had lived in the Ralls area all his life.

Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Flowers; one daughter, Mrs. Larry (Kay) Templeton of Duncanville, Tx; one sister, Mrs. Charles (Billye) Titsworth of Brownwood; one grandson, Chris Brizzard of Duncanville, and his mother-in-law, Vada Bartlett of Crosbyton.

Pall Bearers were J. B. Marshall, Joe Dwyer, Scott Gilbreath, Allen Crausbay, Steve Gray, and George Wilson.

Honorary Pall Bearers included Nathan Boardman, Doyle Parrish, Tim Havens, C.F. Flemins, Philip Kirkendall, Dale Stegall, Ken Evans, Vernie Smith, Jack Robertson, Floyd McGinnes, Earl C. Abell, Billy Bob Wright, Donald Cave, Dick Wagnon, David Fowler, and Larry McDowell.
